    When the tank runs empty

I can feel the effects of the last 18 months really building within me.

    It's been a lot.

A toddler and a baby. My mom's health journey. Losing my granddad. Deciding to aggressively restructure the business after doing one thing for nearly seven years.

    I feel like I'm at a limit.

There have been moments recently where I've just been with the kids, or I've heard a song, and it's just caused me to tear up. The focus isn't the same. That dialed-in clarity you need to play this game at a high level.

So we're making a change. A big one.

My partner & I are packing up our lives for three months and spending it in Asia with our two boys.

It feels like the right opportunity to just... change it up.

When you become a parent, it's very easy to get comfortable. To say, "oh, we'll do that when the kids are a little bit older."

I really, really don't like that thinking. I don't like putting life on hold.

I told Liana, there's no way we get to 70 and regret taking this trip while they're this age. While they're all about being with their parents.

I know that time just absolutely disappears.

Changing my environment has always led to really good stuff. New ideas, new connections, new friendships. You have to pay attention to the things that serve you well & do more of them.

The business is restructured. There's a blank slate. I feel like I'm heading into a season where there's room for something new and something big.

I don't know what it is yet.

I've got the Quiet Empire framework & model in place with my personal brand where I share this journey, my investments & daily options trading which I love to do & then some really interesting projects on the go. And there's space for more. It's brewing.

I think changing up the scenery is a powerful way to unlock it. A new perspective might just lead to an idea I wouldn't access by going about the same routine over & over again.

My sister once said to me when I was planning to move to New York, "What's the worst that can happen? You'll just end up back in the same place anyway."

It's easy to forget we only get one go at this.

When you get an opportunity, you just have to give it a go.
