The moment I knew it was time

I was riding my scooter down the main road here in Sanur, Bali the other day.

About ten minutes into the ride, I realised I had been smiling the entire time.

The sun was shining, with the wind in my hair.

It was a serious moment of gratitude.

A feeling that I am one hundred percent in the right place right now.

    That was the spark.

It told me it was time to come back to this channel and share my journey again.

The last time I posted, I had hit a wall after a massive 18 months. I was not in a great way.

I needed to make a shift, and I was confident that a change of scenery would help.

But I have been absolutely staggered by how impactful it has been.

We have been in Bali for six weeks now, which has gone by so fast.

Our days have found a new rhythm. I drop my son at school, work from a coffee shop for a few hours, and then we all have lunch together.

It is a simple routine, but it is ours.

I honestly do not think the magic is specific to being in Bali, though the beautiful villas certainly help.

I think the power is in the change itself.

The new stimulus. The new sights and smells. The freedom to explore.

It has brought back a childhood curiosity and excitement. That Christmas morning feeling that we tend to lose as we get older and life gets heavier.

I feel like a completely different person.

The clarity and flow I am feeling with my business, after seasons where I had fallen out of love with it, has been so refreshing.

So if you are feeling burnt out, flat, or just completely cooked, see what a change of environment can do for you.

It does not have to be another country. It could be another city, or even just a new coffee shop to work from.

I used to have an amazing apartment on the Gold Coast in Australia with an unbelievable view. It was not about escaping a bad place. I think you just run your course in a certain place, in a certain season.

I am really proud that we made this jump, especially with a one-and-a-half and a three-year-old.

It is very easy to put life on hold when you have young kids.

I am so glad we made the bold move.

If you have the ability to change things up, I would encourage you to do it. You never know what it might unlock.
