Staying in your job is irresponsible

Despite what we're all told, opting out is ACTUALLY the responsible choice.

And it's about to become very very clear why.

One thing I find more & more insane by the day as I get older is that opting out of the 'normal' path is considered reckless & crazy.

(You should have seen some of the looks I got when I quit my corporate job to become a full time affiliate marketer back in 2018)

You zoom out & look at the normal path a lot of us are sold:

You borrow money to get a credential to get a job to pay back the money.

The job requires you to be somewhere specific, for specific hours, building someone else's vision...

To earn income that gets taxed heavily because it's the least protected form of money...

To spend on a lifestyle that's largely been designed for you by advertising & to impress people you don't particularly like....

And has become increasingly expensive relative to the aforementioned wage thx to governments printing into oblivion...

All building towards an arbitrary retirement number that keeps moving...

That you MAY get access to at an age where your body and energy are already declining....

While your kids grew up in the meantime and moved on.

THIS is what is presented as the responsible choice.

Rejecting this, is seen as a risk? As bold? As a gamble? As reckless?

    It's no secret.

It's all there on the table to see.

    There's no conspiracy.

Most people are just so distracted to ever stop & audit it.

Then you blink & 15 years are gone.

This path is getting blown up left, right & centre right now & I think a lot more people will start to see which option is the real risk.
